Booking rules:

1. Please see https://tennishampetersham.mycourts.co.uk for details of court booking availability over the next week.

2. Courts must be booked in advance of playing, and all players must be shown on our booking system in advance; this includes family members and children. Bookings in a sole name will be cancelled.

3. We are a members' club; members can only play with other members, not people who are not members. Except, each member may currently book guest slots for up to a total of 3 hours per membership year (not 3 hours per guest, but 3 hours in total over the year). Click on Book Now (for the date and time you want). Click on Select Opponent. The top row displayed is "No Opponent", the next row down is "*** Guest". Click on this to select it. You do not need to add the name of the Guest.

4. When you book a court, the booking system will require you to add the name or names of the members you are going to play. If you want to book a court but don’t know yet who you will be playing, put in your name and select the Guest booking option as the second name. When you know who you will be playing, add their name or names to the booking, then delete the Guest, so that just the actual players are shown.

5. If you wish to reserve a court to practice serving on your own, when booking put in your name, and select the Guest booking option as the second name. Then before playing email membership.tennishampetersham@gmail.com to say your booking is for serving practice only, and you will be the only user of the court, and the booking will not be counted towards the three hours of guest bookings allowed each year.

6. Members may not play for more than 2 hours a day.

7.  We share the courts with Grey Court School; they have absolute priority to use the courts weekdays in school hours during term time, even if they have not booked, and you have.

8.  Court 1 is nearest the entrance gate / Ham Avenue.

9.  Please cancel a booking if you find you cannot play.

10.  Only members of our club may take part in coaching/lessons on our courts from our coaches. The only exception to this is Easter and Summer Camps when different arrangements apply.

11.  If you try to book a member as an opponent, and find you can't, this will be because they have never logged into the court booking system. After they have done that, you will be able to select them as an opponent.

12. If you click on Members' Directory near the top of the screen, further down the page you will see a link Edit Your Profile. Click on this. Please check your contact details are correct; additional details can be added. When you check your contact details, please check we have your email address, phone number, home address and (if a junior or young adult) age. You can also upload a photo of yourself. This photo should be a passport style one to help verify who is playing.
